A developer at Neostream Interactive stated that the game is not about “leveling up” and therefore, exploration in the game game is going to be strongly encouraged. Players of the game will be able to explore the world map of Little Devil Inside freely at any point, despite the direction that the story or their mission points direct them in. This could potentially be to get fans to focus more on the detail and realism of the world, and to emphasise the worlds significance in the game in comparison to the characters. However, it is interesting the way that the world appears to have been created, as the world itself looks very realistic and lifelike, in contrast to this, the characters are displayed as toy-like figurines which takes away some of the realistic effect that was created by the tilt shift effect. In addition to this, the map features a tilt-shift appearance which ultimately makes it appear that much more realistic, due to this effect. The map appears to be very sentimental whilst simultaneously feeling quite modernized. The trailer that Neostream Interactive, released on Wednesday 27th October 2021, provided fans with a more thorough look at the games world map. Little Devil Inside is being developed for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox. Obviously, years have passed since then, and there was still no release date given today. ![]() In the games most recent trailer, which was dropped on Wednesday’s PlayStaion state of play, the most in depth and detailed insight into the game was revealed to fans yet. Neostream originally pitched Little Devil Inside as a Kickstarter project, successfully bringing in over 230,000 to fund the game, including a stretch goal to release on Wii U. Despite this, Little Devil Inside still steadily grows closer and closer to its approaching launch. In years to come Little Devils Inside became a PlayStation console exclusive, and even to this date, Little Devil Inside continues to be developed and progressed without a release date. With the game originally being announced in 2015, a Kickstarter led to the development of the game, and time that had been taken to develop the game, increasing drastically. Neostream Interactive have recently released a new trailer for Little Devil Inside which details the games overworld. The have stated that the aim of the game is not to see “how long you can survive for” and that it is more about “taking a trip for a mission, and seeing how long you can survive for.” Although, Neostream Interactive have described this game as being relatively “easy” in comparison to other games that fall under the survival genre. ![]() The game explores elements of combat, survival, and open-world exploration. Xbox One and Switch versions are also planned for release at a later date.Little Devil Inside is an upcoming 3D action-adventure video game that was developed and published by Neostream Interactive. Little Devil Inside will launch first for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. One of our technical challenges is, of course, trying to make the transition between world map travel view and real-time view as smooth as possible, and we’re working hard on this. ![]() The game is not about leveling up the character as quickly as you can and speed running through all the content.Īs such, the pace of the game is designed to try and touch the player’s emotions by giving enough time and space and allow them to “take-in” the various atmosphere. Traveling on foot is slowest but you can go where other forms of transportation cannot take you.Īnother design aspect we wished to show is the overall tone, manner, and pace of actual gameplay. You can travel on foot, on a horse (or a mule to be exact…), in vehicles, and of course on a train. Regardless of mission content, you are free to roam the world map. There are of course instances where you can zoom in further to an actual real-time gameplay level where you can perform all the real-time actions, attend to Billy’s (the protagonist) needs, and fulfill your missions. ![]()
